Description
The grab ship unloader is a large-scale bulk material unloading equipment. It is widely used in ship unloading operations at the wharf. It has high production efficiency and strong adaptability to ship types and materials. The grab ship unloader is mainly composed of a steel structure, grab lifting opening and closing mechanism, trolley traveling mechanism, luffing mechanism, conveyor,crane traveling mechanism, machinery room, four rope clamshell grab,hopper, dust suspension system, electrical equipment and other necessary safety and Composition of auxiliary facilities. PLC and CMMS fault monitoring systems can be used. At the same time, the grab electronic anti-sway system can be added according to user requirements.

Product Features
1.It has four-drum mechanism with smart structure, earliest developed in China; the self-designed differential reducer is safe and reliable; the lower-mounted mechanical room has a low center of gravity, good stability and strong wind resistance; the dead weight of the whole ship unloader is 30%-40% lighter than that of self-propelled trolley ship unloader, 15%-20% lighter than balanced traction ship unloader；
2.It has four steel ropes with simple rope winding system and small annual rope consumption; the trolley is light in weight, monorail horizontally guided, and runs smoothly;
3. It is with continuous innovation of a series of products such as double hoppers, movable hoppers, and measurable hoppers which can meet different requirements of the clients.
4. It can make remote monitoring and diagnosis with AC frequency conversion speed regulation (multi-drive) and PLC control, and it has complete functions, good safety and reliability, and low failure rate.
Painting
The ship unloader shall use the zinc epoxy painting system.
They paint could guarantee a minimum paint life of minimum 5 years against cracks, rusty, peeling and discolourtion.
Every surface of metal have surface cleaning according to standard sis st3 or sa2.5. Then they are painted with one coat of epoxy zinc rich primer with dry film thickness of 15 microns.
The primer coat – shall be painted with one coat epoxy zinc rich primer, dry film thickness of 70 microns.
The intermediate paint shall be painted with one coat epoxy micaceous iron oxide, dry film thickness of 100 microns.The finish coat shall be painted with two coats, poly urethane, the thickness of each coat is 50 microns.The total dry film thickness shall be not less than 285 microns.
Crane Management System (CMS)
The crane management system shall be full computerised operation, complete with sensors and transducers which shall be installed permanently on each crane and work in conjunction with the plc. provide with the monitor to monitoring diagnostics of crane, telling the data collection on the crane’s operating system, operated jointly with the device at least including the electrical power supply device, motor controls, operator control, motor, gear reducers and etc., such programme shall be flexible enough to change or modify by the operator at later stage.
